This should help give you a good jumping off point. I based my cover letter off of these templates and I never got any complaints. Just be sure to adjust it for a game company. Short, simple and manageable. http://www.wikihow.com/Write-a-Cover-Letter Hope this helps? - D. Carmine
Your lighting is killing this and some of your choices to show this off are perplexing. Why would you use a shot of the sun blowing out all details in your scene? The whole point is to show off your environment and that does the exact opposite. The lighting is your biggest issue, it's just too dark.
I think you're going to have troubles because you're working off a reference that isn't entirely straight which is throwing off the proportions of your body. If you do a search for "African elephant anatomy", you'll pull up a few photos and drawings that'll be much better to work from
The colors just seem a bit off to me instead of WD being purple he's this dark blue and the colors just doesn't seem to hit the exact hue for me, like they're a bit off, but yeah, if they get desaturated it would personally help a lot for me anyways. Just trying to help :)
I totally agree. In fact, I was supposed to make a character sheet before I started sculpting and I forgot about that when I decided to bust out a base mesh. Gotta get to the foundation before I rush off to the fun stuff. So off to photoshop I go :)
Rip it off! Rip it oFF ! Everything is great, I am distracted by the thighs. The Dark grey seams to be dominant over the the yellow there, and its pushing her legs into a funny silloette. Have you considered flipping the colors.. or giving more yellow, and less Grey. Something to play with it you still want to.
I was trying to turn this off too because it looked really bad, and it took me awhile to figure it out. It's actually SSAO, I think, so it's not baked and you can turn it on/off with Allow Ambient Occlusion under Post Process settings either in World Info or in a Post Process Volume.
Fine, ill be the one to say it. Just pirate a version of max or maya and go at it. I went to college and it broke me completly. So the teachers would have cracked versions of software on the transfer drives for students to grab. Just dont run off and try to make money off it. /flame suit on
I tried using an image plane for reference, but in the end I hid it and tried working off what I had. It's really my first decent head (My last two were just terrible), but yea, there's still something off about the anatomy but I'm having issues finding the problem.
The white scratching/paint worn off is a bit too thick and consistent and uniform around that edge. There should be a couple spots where the paint isn't completely worn off and it connects through to both sides. Gas pumps don't get thrown around so there's no reason for the edge to be scratched up that badly.
