I like it, but I want to see some more personality. Maybe the Fender logo on the headstock, some wearing on the neck, some finger/string gook on the frets, and some scratches from a belt or buckle on the back from standing and playing. Why no screenshots of the back?
Looking really good The ingame font choice looks odd tho, and the game logo texture on the tavern sign looks very misplaced, robbing the immersion totally for me atleast. Some small flowers and stones and such decor could really bring it over the edge
I'm kinda glad we (UK) didnt get it. We already can't afford the olympics. Plus I hate to think what wonderful design we'd come up with for logo's and characters. The Olympic ones are just laughable, yet cost gazillions to develop.
Some of the worst people I've ever worked with only took advice from 'popular artists'. I could sit there and give them crits and advice and it wasn't until someone like Bobo game them the exact same crits and advice that they would listen.
ebagg: Checked just now, they're all there (gamedata.db6, if anyone's interested). Also I noticed that the Russian version of the game has a Samsung logo on the PDA, I wonder if that was removed in the English version because it'd be more likely to get hit by legal departments?

Neat update!I am so addicted to the tool :poly124: I was extracting a logo from a wrinkled cloth, similar to this. I was thinking if multiple points can be added to the increase the segment of the wrap or is there any other way to rip this through texripper? Thanks again.
Looking great but your forearms feel short to me which causes the whole arm to feel short. This is something I've noticed on all of your models. It could be a stylistic preference though. I love all of the detail. Can't wait to see it finished. - BoBo
Honestly, other than the mario games, I can vouch for the rest being real eye candy. And ear candy as well (loco's demo music was great fun, lumines' music is pure awesome, metal slug just rocks, and GGX's stuff is great).
After looking at most of the meshes I would have to agree with MOP and BoBo. A serious study of anatomy needs to happen here. Are image planes being used when modeling? They can be very useful. That way your ref material is on screen as you model.
