nice pics Blazier, what setup you running it on and how did you turn off the UI ? OB was a blast, logged off last night a bit sad that I cant play it for a few days and have to start all over again, but definitely starting out with a spiritmaster again.
Joshua: Ya, I have checked the settings about the Sleep and turn off. That is not the problem, I changed that to Never right when this first started happening. So far nothing...it has not turned off once. I am pissed I really want to see if the music will keep playing!!!
Just do whatever gets you the best grade for the demo reel. I really like the inside view of the creature, something different, but pulled off really nicely. You have enough content that I'd remove anything that was done with a team (so just show off the dinos and plants)
A - It's the same as it's always been.... press insert, or hold d....... B - Turn it off if you don't like it. "Preselction highlight" in preferences C - It's the same as before, works for me.... E - Turn off "show panel toolbar" ni preferences F - Works for me. Maybe something with your setup....
Wow, sorry to see you go out like that. Raven's like the 5th company thats made the news this week with layoffs. On the bright side, you did get laid off off at a time when a lot of good games are set to release, so you'll have no shortage of entertainment.
I'm curious which would be a better way to utilize my skills in order to make money short term, get out of my day job, and start making money off my modeling skills full-time so I can progress my skills properly while starting out. The Dota 2 Workshop, or Unity Asset Store (+likely model distribution sites like…
Looks like you improved a lot from your first version. Would be better to start her off from an idle state or standing position before she jumps off. She also lost her forward momentum at f120. She should land further instead of straight down.
Thanks for the tips! When I sculpt, should I be using perspective on or off? Most of this was done with perspective off, and I'm actually using image planes so everything matched up rather nicely, its just when I turned on perspective that he moved away from the ref a bit.
This is very good! Honestly, it's not easy to pull off nintendo characters but I think this worked well! I have a small picky thing to say though, that it looked like the fairies were actual blobs with wings, instead of that just being the light they give off, but hey! Good production on all ends!
The edges are worn everywhere, that looks a little bit off. This isn't the case everywhere. Some edge getting any contact anywhere, you should think about this. Where does the weapon reach a surface. Where does the usage touch any surface to wear off a material or a paint? Keep that in mind.
