Awesome Thanks guys. It was rushed, and I have moved onto something else, as I'm trying to do a new piece once every 7 days for my portfolio. I'll adjust the saturation, and re post.
Can't say on the other components, but you would want to upgrade to Windows 7 Professional to ultilize all of your RAM, Currently home premium only supports up to 16GB ( I made this mistake myself :( )
Yeah, for an "entry level" job they all want someone with 5-7 years exp working on AAA titles, with a couple of shipped games under their belt, oh, and you need to know a laundry list of software.
ugh, i can't believe there are still people trying to force the xp style workflow on 7. you're missing out on so many window management enhancements that you might as well just be using xp.
Got down to 3 enemies left of Wave 7 after a few tries :D I second the suggestion to add splashes of color to certain things, just to draw the eye and introduce a bit of visual contrast.
Hawken: Since 7. Also, the Solidworks video *is the video. Just look at it, you'll see. It's not an official Wacom announcement, it's the touch-enabled Cintiq showing up in the video, probably as an attempt by the Solidworks creators to ride the buzz ;)
Argh! why didnt i think of updating my video drivers when i reformatted and installed wins 7!! ahh i feel like such a fool! well, that fixed it anyway, thanks man. haha :)
gauss, that is so awesome, thank you very very much. Great stuff! (and wtf whats with apologizing for posting those :poly142: I dont see a need for that) (I like no.6 and no.7 very much)
I found out about this on another forum, and there were quite a few people there who'd started with Truespace, and had some pretty negative opinions on 7. I signed up for the download, but probably won't bother.
