Haha, love the Elmo :P You could make the two horns different size. Since, real, mooses fight with there horns they can lose them. So you could do 11 spikes on one and 15 on the other. I would open up for asymmetry both in the visuals, put more weight to one side, and in animation or pose. Keep it up!
Thanks for the help guys, executing the script didn't give me any more errors, but it also didn't do anything lol. Is anyone using Maya 15 that can direct me to where the "bake" button for Turtle would be? Topogun has helped with baking my maps but I would like to compare before I include it into my pipeline. Cheers, Adam
try applying this and see what you think i did this in like 15 minutes but it should help get the point. i think you need to refine your maps. they have base colors laid down but no lighting information and no sharpness to them. there aren't any crisp details at the moment. you have the groundwork but now is the hard part…
Around 15 years ago I would say, when I was 12 or 13. I was lucky the urbanterror site is still up to pull that m4 shot from. If I had some of the pre-2000 stuff to post I would but that was many hard drives ago. I'm sure a handful of the older members here have the misfortune of remembering it. =P

IMO it's better to just get a pre made PC. Over 15 years or so I've built 3 of my own PCs. The first time I saved ~$1000, the second time I saved about $300, and the most recent one I spent about $40 more than I would have if I just bought it pre made.
very nice shapes so far, I think youre really close to the concepts proportions but some parts are still a bit off, his legs and arms are perhaps longer or even just slimmer in the concept and his head is about 15 to 20% smaller, there is also a nice slope from the shoulders to the head in the concept which doesnt really…
Or you can select by polygons limited by angle. If you keep the angle something around 15-30 degrees, your selection will not bleed over the collar, and will just select the inner surfaces. another way is to apply a autosmoothing group to the whole mesh, and then just select by the 1 smoothing group that makes up the…
I'm running a Palit 560 ti 2gb and I have no problems in max, any version runs fine. I will say that in max 2014 I have noticed a big performance boost compared to 2012 which I use most of the time. I can get 15-20 mil polygons in the scene without to much sweat (if I have to that is)
I agree with the more tris comment. What really sticks out to me are those cloudy dirt details. I think they are way too strong against that white background. It just pops too much and the placement is very random. I think it would look much better if you strategically placed the dirt and lowered the opacity on that to…
