His script replaces the default UVW Edit Window script. Rename \3dsmax8\UI\Macroscripts\Macro_UnwrapUI.mcr to Macro_UnwrapUI.backup, then put Chuggnut's mcr there, named Macro_UnwrapUI.mcr.

Well I use the migNormalTools script. For this example I select all the planar faces, harden the normal and then with the same faces selected I use the fillet outside option in the migNormalTools script.

I think there's a script which evenly spaces out your edge loops. Just select a edge > ring > run the script! that's it! Maybe someone could post it, I can't find it.
