Thanks for all the comments! bbob - You are right I should use the cloth modifier. Was playing around last night and trying to add some displacment to the towels but they still don't quite look right. I think the cloth modifier and some gravity will help that a lot. ZacD - Which scales seem off exactly? Most of the items…
@kanga I took some pictures of my Zbrush model (sorry for the long wait, life has been crazy for me for two weeks) Heres some pictures that I took : This is the quick sketch that I did for the character that I wanted to create, I tend to create some really cartoonish characters with nothing sexy at all in them, but this…
I am in the process of making more clothing brushes. I will be making several new stitch brushes upon request :) If anyone needs anything clothing wise, such as a specific stitch (each stitch will be originally vector to get very high resolution images), type of fabric, or anything, let me know. This set might take quite a…
@Dave Jr -- You are right about the fanny pack. I made a basic shape for one that I will sculpt to more detail later. @JacobRMooreArt -- I will be adding the wrinkles to the clothing after I get all the elements I want on the model. I intend on thickening the open end of the shorts. I am sure that adding the seams for the…
Since Gav covered the technical stuff... I am speaking strictly from a design and aesthetics perspective, two major things jump out at me. 1) Her face is really off-putting. The proportions in the face look off, her chin is huge and to round, it does not look very feminine, and since she is so skinny you would definitely…
Looking pretty cool; you're getting into some of the secondary forms a little bit early with the cloth. Finish blocking out the major forms first. His head needs work. -Needs a stronger chin. -Eyes should probably dropped in as a separate mesh so it's easier to sculpt around. -Missing those sharp angles that defines his…
imo give geo to the bed cloth it looks ultra flat. the sand material is very brown and boring and the same colour as the mountain behind, some small colour variation and bump should help. the wood outside is all super desaturated and all the same type and shade, needs variation and a bit of saturation. grass/shrubs tends…
Hey guys! Sorry for the slow updates, crazy christmas retail crunchtime been eating up my time ;) prob wont get any decent time on this till the new year :( ZiO - Cheers dude, you are definitely right about that, will deff rework that area. Luke_Starkie - Duuuude! Thank you for the paintover, i appreciate it :) deff opened…
If that happens you can stiffen up your cloth by picking another tougher preset, its probably set to silk or something light and whispy. I normally go pretty stiff but then crank up the gravity to get it to hang at the level I want. Or just select a edge that runs the length of the wire, convert to shape (spline) and you…
Okay, big update! I've been working really hard on learning to sculpt clothing and folds for the first time, and now I have all of her costume in place. It's obviously still missing a lot of detail work and her hands need detailing, too. I'm also trying to find a better way to have her goggles hang from her costume. And I…
