Hello Polycount! After finising my fanart of the laser pistol from Star Citizen i decided to start a much bigger project. The Rover (another fanart i guess...) from the concept artist Alexey Pyatov (This guy is a beast...) So i started with the blocking for the hi poly early WIP
Maybe Linux as first class citizen might help change that, developers love Linux but it's challenging for the game industry to support it. If the LF is behind it then clearly that's their initiative and they see value in it, but I expect Neox is right and this is more about services other than games.
Which is exactly why we shouldn't let them have anymore control over the net than they already have over their citizens access. It's our system, we'd be stupid to give it away to the world to screw up even worse than it is now.
kleinluka, Do you know if being an American citizen trying to get a job in Canada is a negative or if it matters at all? Will by applying today and hoping to hear from someone, UBI is my number one choice of game company to work for. Thanks for all the info.
Hmm, did they say how you would get a work-visa? Because unless you earn something like 45,000€ per year you will not get a "blue-card" and thus getting a work permit without being an EU citizen will be... difficult.
Do these methods only apply to hard surface things? What about organic characters that have armour for example? I've only heard about this type of workflow being used on Star Citizen, are there any other major titles that choose this sort of method?
Yeah i know and they did a cool job. i was just stunned seeing that the golden steps all around my place are pokestops (golden steps are stones put into the cobblestone sidewalks, that contain the informations of jewish citizens that lived there and were killed in the holocaust)
Here is something intresting from fox news American Citizens Caught in Georgia During the Attack Speak The Truth. Watch the Reaction of FOX http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONICYAHcTcc&eurl=http://video.feber.se/ Il learn how to link utube video later...
I agree with much of what heyeye suggested. Just to add something small: I'd really love to see a little more process on your Star Citizen Lobby. Texture sheets, or a shot with all of your modular pieces separated from each other.
Okay, keep an eye out for that kind of info, you might get someone from a studio come and join in the discussion if your lucky. I watch the Star Citizen weekly studio reports that gives you a cool insight into how they structure and deploy their team.
