Hey, This is my work done on Unreal Engine. I used megascans for the environment. For the bell and statue, i made it using substance and zbrush and broke some parts using Pulldownit in Maya. The Forgotten Temple
@mink I bought Quixel suite in beta and have barely touched it since. I think it's a nightmare piece of software. I was more talking about Quixel's Megascans library.
Basically, yeah. That's how I develop foliage using Megascans atlases. I create a plane, cut the leaves out of it (keeping optimization in mind), then shape them into the desired plant.
Would be nice the materials have some 2x2 m or 1x1m scale hints. Same way Megascan are . Or have some indication of being scale adjustabe for rare ones that truly are.
Probably looked at the Viking hall concept for too long, because I had to start a blockout :o No particular goal or time frame yet. It would be cool to flesh out a couple of individual assets like the large statues holding the fire bowls, the wall carving and the throne and mix them with Megascans assets. Currently the…
So I'm desperately trying to test out the megascans apps and assets and seem to be hitting issues with it along the way. Currently I've got bridge installed and running with the free assets downloaded and visible but if I try to import my own asset it crashes and then instantly crashes everytime I open bridge. A fresh…
Hi, First post here i believe, so i do apologies if i have posted in the wrong section. So it has been a while since megascan has been released and I was wondering if anyone has figured what kind of hardware quixel is using to scan their textures. I have watched the youtube making of video multiple times and still have no…
Here’s a Painted Brick Walls created with Quixel Mixer and only using Mask. No Megascans used for this texture. I would really like to have some feedback to improve my skills.
Field scene rendered in Unreal Engine 5. The deers are from the Unreal Marketplace and the foliage from Megascans. The spaceship is modeled in Blender and textured with Substance Painter. It was my first time using it and had lots of fun, even if the textures aren't that visible in the final render.Hope you enjoy!
Hy there, it´s been a few busy weeks at work, but i managed to get some props done. I´m currently working on some plants, with lot of help from megascans.
