you've got a lot of polygons in the chest part with the engravings that might be better spent on parts that deform a lot, like the cloak and robe. otherwise nice lowpoly
It depends on the goals. If the main purpose is to learn and improve with the end product being a portfolio piece, time isn't the real constraint - it can take months or years to finish a project because part of it was to learn sculpting or grooming, or other core skills that themselves are adventures in their own right.…
Thank you, parts of it were made in MD, like the sleeves and the cloak but most other things are sculpted, and I re-sculpted most things in zbrush on a new itteration.
Cool cloak material, and I really like how chalky the paint on the arms feels. Great work with the materials 😀 Seems to be a bit of a bending artifact near the left elbow, is there one?
Although the burlap cloak is really well done, it's odd juxtaposed with the high tech footwear. Maybe you it could be made of a space blanket type material or something.
really ncie work luke here is my keeper of the northlight sculpt, new mount, hood, beard, furcollar, staff, and cloak end the lowpoly stuff is the original keeper of the light
30 dollars is a small price to pay for the gargantuan flow of awesome sauce that will bestow it's plentiful bounty of gloriousness upon your chest when donning the cloak of Polycount, my brothers.
Did a bit more work. Started laying in the feathers on the cloak and some of the decals. Also worked more on the folds on the pants. Maybe I'll be able to finish the sculpt by tomorrow..
Cheers apllana! Ive done some work since, and taken your feedback on the boots. been working mainly on the cloak and coat, buttons n patterns are missing atm.
