slaught, the neck is way way too long. ruz, looks very nice, though I think your light setup is making it ugly. green ambient?? also looks you are giving the face all unique UV space but the texture is mirrored. maybe you plan to change that later?
hey, im working on a model of vash, from trigun, and it just doesn't seem to look right in the face at all. Im trying to make a model of him thats not anime, a more human form. any help would be great. [image]http://www.angelfire.com/md3/jerome/vash_2_23.txt[/image]
[ QUOTE ] OMG PEDO BAN BAN LOLOLOL It's not bad, but the face doesn't look much like her, ya'know? [/ QUOTE ] I'm realy upset. Are there any ideas how to make her looks more like Etna? PS. Don't ban me - I'll make censored squares larger!
Starting on a UT3 character. It's a concept I've been willing to put it ingame since a while now hence I thought I could get over it now that the new UT is out! I plan to go much more realistic with the face to make it contrast as much as possible with the overdone armor.
im thinking this is kinda a resting position and then his face would come out of his body and rotate from there:)......but looking up might not be possible.....hes supposed to be old, so there would be a lot of shoulder movement to make eye contact, kinda like someone who pulled a muscle in there neck.
[ QUOTE ] Ourgh, carpal tunnel setting in [/ QUOTE ] damn us humans and our bodily constraints... Ne ways, its looking good. Loving the structure much better than the skinnier version, and the face detail is looking cool. gonna look sweet when ya get more detail.
I can see it Jeffro. I think you have the same problem I had (and still have) which is very monochromatic colors that are too clearly separated. Your hair is one pool of very limited pallete color, and then your skin is one pool of very limited pallete. See if you can get enough color variation into both so that it blends…
RobG, I really dig your style! it's great! Went away for a long time.. learning and improving my pixelling skills wip: (learnt C too and a little SDL .. ) hope to come back to 3D soon with some really low poly and pixel texture! and by the way here is my face :
@Obsti: Very nice style. I totally dig the creature. Personally, I would get rid of the smiley face. It places the creature in a more modern setting, when everything else screams kick ass fantasy. I take it the rider is a hunter of sorts? Can't wait to see him/her/it!
only real problem i have buddy, is that her proportions are very manly, and that if she didn't have boobs i wouldn't call her a girl. all the muscled areas are too defined, her arms seem very big, her face seems to have fairly manish features too...
