working hard on my artstation 3d environment challenge every night after work. Felt like my scene really needed something more dynamic to give it more life , so experimenting with cloth atm. No textures, UV's or anything yet for the cloth, just trying different setups. Link to my submission…
Finished The Communist Rifle! Quite happy with how this all turned out. This project was a lot of fun to work on! Textures in the final image are 4k for the gun and the scope, the bullet is 1024. the tri-count is 15k. Modeling done in 3ds max 2016, texturing in Substance Painter 2.1 and final render in Marmoset Toolbag 2.…
refined it some more and rounded off most of the kinks. painful! still looks better with toolbags subdivision toggled on :) will probably use that for final renders then. question: is there a function to only subdivide & smooth in X or Y across a surface? (blender or 3ds max preferably). that could really save some time...…
Hey guys, Me and my friend Daniel S Rodrigues (www.danielsrodrigues.com) just finished a collaboration project together, so we would like to share with you guys here. I was responsible for all the UV/texturing/shading/fur aspect of the bird and Daniel provided the 3D model with primary and secondary details using Zbrush.…

I'm new here and not entirely sure how to navigate this site just yet, so please excuse noodishness. I'm practicing my 3D skills with a simple timber wolf. I'm looking to make this a fully textured(hand painted), rigged, game ready low poly model. Any thoughts or links on how I might improve this or my work flow? Critiques…
Thank God, I was able to contribute 3D modeling for 2 Disneyland Shanghai parade floats. More surprisingly, they are original designs of my old highschool drama teacher's husband who I didn't think I'd be working with that soon, lol. Small, small world as they've said multiple times. Only allowed to show the public images…
