Thanks for the replies :-) I forgot that when I export with the ZBrush preset in max, it unchecks some settings and that was the culprit :-) Anyways, here is an update of the character and the pet alligator/lizard hybrid she's gonna be riding on. I'm a bit disappointed in the resolution of the skulls, but oh well, maybe… -

Froyok! Thankyou! Absolutely spot on! I was fiddling with light mass settings everywhere and never even thought to check brush properties. Kind of bizzare that this bug has been around since December when I'm guessing it can be fixed for good by tweaking an ini file somewhere! Cheers again! -

It's not a terrible start. The center line has a pinch where it was mirrored. You'll need to soften that. I would suggest looking at animal anatomy from lizards, bats and dinosaurs. Hi there. So it seems your legs connect a little to close to your arms to even allow proper landing/running motions. I'd look more bird/lizard references for anatomy. Also, look up the Hoatzin South American bird. They're interesting because they also have functional 'claws' on their wings used for climbing. -

Looking good man, the only thing I notice now is the pose might need some work. This might just be the camera angle but in the first image when you look at him from the side you can see his weight is off and it appears as if he is going to fall with the lizard man. -

Looking good, the textures added a lot of needed detail, I think you should push it more though! maybe ad some spots/patterns and some splash of bright color here and there, look at birds, lizards or even newer renderings of dinosaurs as inspiration and I think you can find some really cool patterns to play around with. -

This is so bizzare, I already had this stuck in my head from seeing the first screenshot, but I didn't even notice what it was untill I heard it properly. Final fantasy as conditioned me! I think If you put a screenshot of a major city from any final fantasy game, the song would start playing in my head.:\
