from what i know about using terrain, you cant have more than 4 layers painted over each other. once you get the 5th layer in an area where there are 4 other layers, you get that "rainbow map" as i call it. have you tried messing around with landscape? i havent used it but i think you may be able to have more textures with…
"defiantly perspective" Perspective certainly is a defiant thing to learn :P. Welcome to the forums! So ithe good news is that you are studying and working from reference which is great. what i would recommend is to sit down and work out what you need to learn and what your immediate goals are. What i would say that is, is…
t-shirts would be cool indeed ;) ok with many different projects atm I do my best to push this to the finish line I've made some source code changes (simple stuff.. just some first steps with c++) a message box system to allow some 'story' ingame without the need of talented voice actors here is an screen of the 4th map…
even more innovative than the first. LOVE IT! first one was my favourite single player game ever. and the second is just getting better and better. start of the 6th chapter, playing on zealot. died alot. in the first, i didnt have issues with ammo on hard, but in this one, im finding ammo is harder to come by. definitely…
This turned out great. If I where to comment on any of it is that roof texture tiles fairly obviously. Maybe if you go back, make a second version and blend between them. Great job on the cameras too. For the most part you avoided that floatiness that one often sees in flythroughs. Should you go back, the 2nd and 4th shot…
If you're going to run with a unique texture here, you can unwrap 1/2 or 1/4th(and mirror/instance) and just relax it, that should get rid of any warping, however you'll end up with sort of a strange shape. Likely will still be worth it tho. You should also try a relax on the planar map, as you can get *better* results…

"The stylized motif would be something around Darksiders or Heroes of the Storm. " Just let me say... ugh. This has been the same "Stylization" for over a decade now, there are so many games that go for this exact motif. Maybe the best looking game of last year was Inside, and it had a completely different and unique take…

Don't lose hope Jeremy! My delivery estimate changed about four times since preordering this back when it was announced. Mine was originally planned to ship about November 29th but I got an email on Friday night saying the estimate had been brought forward to the 9th, followed about half an hour later by the dispatch…
