https://www.artstation.com/artwork/4N51K1 This Playable level is running at 1440p - 40 Frames per second on a RTX 2080 on Epic Scalability Setting. (Unreal Engine 5.3) Over the last 3 months I have been working on this playable level as both an optimization and environment design exercice, learning all the intricacies of…
https://syncsketch.com/sketch/FBALHwm8oZ3i/ Hey all I've got a few clips lined up and I'm getting them ready for putting into a portfolio but would like some critique before I put it all together. I've got some in progress game clips all set up on a sync sketch space and was wondering if anyone had any feedback. If nothing…
A clear indication of what is expected and what the project is could help. Such as if everyone's working on it for free, then is the game released for free? Honestly that makes more sense then the countless amount of projects where the person says so-and-so would work for free, but then the games supposedly going to be a…
I think I cursed myself calling this "The Forgotten Temple" because it seems like everyone, well...forgot about it. For the next few posts, I'll be referring to this as "The Critique Temple" in hopes of getting some more experienced eyes on my work. I've made some minor changes since the last post, mainly trying to break…
I don't know about topogun settings, but the wacom driver for some operational systems has a minimum pressure setting. The pen click isn't considered valid until you apply that amount of pressure, and if set too high that's quite noticeable in some tools. It's worth taking a look.

My main goal is to gain experience working with a team, and I’d love to create something horror-themed – but I’m open to brainstorming ideas together! About Me & Past Work I’ve been developing an MMORPG called…
A lot of games are violent because the human mind is drawn to conflict and the easiest conflict there is to portray is violent conflict because we take pleasure in seeing it resolved. It doesn't require much of the viewer to fully grasp what the conflict is because the conflict is very literal. Other forms of conflict,…
Thanks for the suggestion, Professor420. It was something we did think about, possibly storing some of the lightmap data in the alpha channel of our texture to conserve space. But as rooster pointed out, it would only give us a greyscale colour spectrum. We need a coloured lightmap, so we'll have to use the full RGB…
