I think you are gtting there, just got to watch the flow of your meshes. try taking the poly count down a bit , get the shapes right before adding more detail. Best advice I can give is study other top artists and see how they construct their meshes I like the top robot dude BTW -

For game animations, I animate the root controller quite often. But I put the animation in a layer and mute the layer when exporting to the game. Thanks man, I was looking to go to something like fightpunch drones style for the boots, I think I may just switch them with some dusty boots that are less robotic. I agree on the hair tip, I will totally redo the hair in maya with some planes, it'll be far better. Good eye on recognizing the reference model :D -

I too am looking to do a vehicle, but I have next to zero experience with characters, which means if I do it myself it'll just be a robot or something. So if there's any interested character artists, feel free to message me. Very open to whatever sort of concept/style, I haven't thought much yet about a theme. -

Awesome as always! I think there is some polish you can do on the animated illustration, for example the camera motion is looking a bit robotic, rocking back and forth that way. I also think you could dial back the motion of the character a little bit, its looking a bit extreme right now. everything else is looking great :) -

As a robot, Artem doesn't use a mouse or keyboard, he just syncs telepathically with his computer, moving vertices with his brainwaves. Also possibly something about a time paradox. I think what's letting you down is your texturing. Spend some time getting to know materials, how they work, where the damage is and how much. Some of your stuff is pretty good, stick a decent texture on that robot and it will look pretty sweet! I like the desert town too. You just need to remember to work on the details! -

Maybe look into the new Star Wars Battlefront as reference? I haven't played it yet but since it has both humans and big robots playing around in the same field, there's probably something to take away from that.
