Did they install the network card? How is your computer connected to the router? If the network card is built into you r motherboard, than Verizon can't help you. You need to get the driver from your motherboard maker.
I wouldn't say that 3 hrs of playing games in one sitting is ridiculus; but assuming that it was it's 'still' not addressing the issue at it's source. I guess it's human nature to look for a quick fix rather than investigate the root of addiction. -R

That's a good trick, you can do it almost the same way in maya. Do the extrude, then r+lmb to set scale mode to Component. Snap the pivot to a vertex by holding D on the top or bottom of the ramp, and scale in. Works the same way to make a convex ramp.
I use UV layout as well. Hitting "i" tags edges for vertical or horizontal straightening. On a regular UV strip like the ones shown above, hitting "r" automatically unwraps them into a rectangle. Check out the hotkey page online for other methods.
