Going to see if this works on my Arc a bit later. Though seeing it worked on the play i guess it will. As to the music. Isn't there some nice license free 8bit music. Idk why but for some reason i get a feeling this would fit great with the game. Maybe because of old memories of the Arkanoid time period.
Pretty much the same comment as: "But Minecraft was a clone of infiminer" whenever a pure carbon copy minecraft clone pops up and someone comments on it. Sim tower, and corporation inc. and tiny tower are similar games, but quite different, dream heights is a pure copy with elements shifted around but gameplay nearly…
The part that irked me was that the enemies felt like real people who cared about each other. When the last guy begged for his life, it was sort of shocking, I've never seen something like that in a game. This game seems less about "hey look what we can do with these cool graphics!"
This looks great! A couple of small notes from me would be: - Maybe keep him in the air for a few frames longer to catch that pose and give it more of an arc as he goes over the wall. - At around 3 seconds as he starts scrambling to get up there are 2 or 3 knee pops as his legs overextend.
I think the hands on Mario seem too big at the moment. also the eyes are creepy as heck. maybe try either doing this style of pupil without iris: or have them larger and squished together like this kind of style: I really lover your yoshi, its exactly like the reference, nice job!
looking around on the forums, It does seem to be an issue, but its a pretty fundamental thing to me. The feet only move slightly, but it just irks me nontheless It seesm that with fbx you can't export the exact keyframes. You either have to convert it to a key per frame or use the key reducer, which is not very accurate
The only thing catching my eye to watch out for, is in the middle of the "swirl" lifetime, the energy arcs shift direction, and to me gives it a sort of sawblade look instead of the swirling inward, black hole feel. Not sure if that makes sense or not? The beginning and end of them look good, but that middle of the…
Hello Friends. Here is my WIP for hand-painted diorama I'm doing. Getting a little busy IRL so might leave this for later. First time using marmoset render. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to improve lighting etc. Also feel free to comment/criticize.
http://blog.maginot.eu/index.php?p=till.1__scriptnstuff_shader_toon Download the texture pack full of ramps. Just incase: TF2 uses it's own Ramp, DOTA2 had many Ramps for different hero's but half of them aren't used (they're basic HL as of now), and IIRC, HL2 and Portal also don't call in any textures.
tnx for the comments guys the fingerprints could indeed beef up the realness of the picture Slum: it is a little glossier then irl , i did that because with the more glossy look it looks nicer to me, the plastic bump is also a good suggestion I'll update the model when i get the time , any more suggestions anyone?
