oXynary our tech artist at work is using the nvidia texture tools command line to convert whole folders of tga's into dxt1 perhaps you can do the same for dxt5 to dxt1?
Normandy is great, though a bit generous in the txr department like autocon said. I'd also drop the tutorials. Setting up folders in photoshop doesn't really necessitate a "tutorial" title
YUMMY! Thanks for those controll meshes, I'll be studying them and trying my own high poly stuff soon i'm sure. Very inspirational. ::saves to his inspiration folder::
Gosh! I remember this! (searching in my inspirations folder) yay! I still love it, but... what did you polished? This piece must be really finished so go on and texture/animate it!
Cathodeus: try to remove it manually : remove the QuadRemesher folder in C:\Users\[YOUR_NAME]\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\20XX - 64bit\ENU\scripts EGGO: yes, I will do it in few months...
I just put in the request. Once I get accepted, I'll tag Teddy and paste the Google Docs folder link so that he can poke around with it to see if there is something amiss.
Hi, i use turbo tools(the uvshells script is there) and xoliul shader2 with quality normal maps enabled. You can enable them via a script in xoliul shader folder. http://www.matthewlichy.com/Scripts.html
This project became a bastard child of long forgotten folders but recently I decided to continue working on it. Its currently a side project while I have some downtime on my Fallout project.
Hey EarthQuake, the attached images show the content of the downloadable folder you made (thanks for this!) and the UVs in Maya. There is the "bitlow2" Object missing, I think... And maybe because of that the UVs are broken, because it's the Highpoly?
Greta to see that people are still going for it. I am still occupied with Crimson Typhoon's bakes but let me share things from my Reference Folder. Hope you mates like it.
