It'd take weeks to perfect the 100 or less tris that make him up! I'd probably try to take it in a slightly different direction, either make it seem slightly digital or plastic. -

Thanks guys :D !!! Stick, The project is a short animation that I'm going to be doing this year. Animated on paper, coloured digitally. It's gonna be awesome and also the hardest thing i've ever done. -
