not sure where to put this but more ps4 pro info seems to be coming out lately http://kotaku.com/the-ps4-pro-will-help-launch-a-new-more-complicated-er-1786366610
I think it looks amazing. I understand its still a wip, But for further tips. Put him in a pose and some good environment underneeth Like JFletchers work http://www.polycount.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1781865&postcount=2539 It has so much character from giving a cold environment and putting the character on a pose.
Pushed forward a bit (saved in iterations so can go back easily enough if needed) Worked on offsetting a few keys to make it feel more natural, especially on mid roll and the standing back up. Would love more feedback to really push this piece! Thank you. https://syncsketch.com/sketch/147148#178978
What I find interesting is that the Tressfx hair most likely looks too bouncy because ... the animation blending system of the game makes her head jump all over the place to begin with. This article covers the issue, and how bad at it most high-profile games are (most likely by favoring foot planting over neck stability)…
Won't bother commenting on the gated forum idea, this is slightly off the original topic but I think the main issue isn't necessarily the numerous art threads that don't get proper attention and replies. We got featured on Kotaku along with some other ex-Bungie devs talking about their indie projects :) http://kotaku.com/a-ton-of-destiny-devs-have-left-bungie-recently-to-make-1784402854
I have to disagree with those suggesting not buying the wireless version. Swizzle/Wahlgren are right in that the cable doesn't limit you at all, there's really no point in upping to the wireless, an you have to charge it, etc. However... I received an intuos 4 (wired) as a gift and within 3 months of light use (I'm quite…
This thread started to look interesting. I agree with danielgalanty, that a bit more SSS would give that nice fleshy look for the skin. Are you going to bake thickness map in Substance Painter as well? Would be interested to see the results of that bake. I really dig his eyes. Looks convincing at the moment. :) But the…
