Trying to recreate the left scene in Unity. Mostly focusing on lighting/material, I'm not a 3D modeller and don't want to be :P Can't figure out how to get the pink light like the image on the left, any suggestions would be highly appreciated! Currently the sign is just an emissive material.
i'm also kinda missing a light direction, the light is pretty much all over the place. the greentooth is lit from the left, the teeth from the right, the top from left or/and right it's super hard to tell.
We`ll be in the library room. So walk in the bar and walk straight and to the left after the corner. The library room is this little room off to the left, up a couple stairs. Sometimes there is a sign that says private party.
It's rendered beautifully, the only issue I'm having with the pose. Is that the legs should be reversed. Since you have the left arm forward, the left leg should be placed back. Either way it's awesome! Great work!
The object needs to be skinned to the bone(s) first, then you select the bone you want to edit memberships for not the object. Then you should be able to CTRL-left mouse to remove and SHIFT-left mouse to add vertices.
I agree, the foot is bothering me as well. I think the contrast between the false leg and her left leg is making the left boot look way too big. I think a slimmer shoe would do a lot of good.
just my own opinion here, but to have the camera over the left side of the character, when the character is holding the weapon on her right side seems counter intuitive, also 3rd person always feels more natural on the left side
I can just look to my left at the two character artists who use it at work, or open it up on my own computer :P It also looks like Max with an extra command panel opened on the left!
Thats a very "left brained" response. :P Right side, left side, Myth or not. Peoples brains are dominated by certain functions from an early age. This can help some people be more creative than others.
