Really nice style going on here, each image works really well! The vertical tunnel brought to mind Alice in Wonderland, going through the rabbit hole :)
The guns look really good, I kinda like the low vertical aim, it means you'll be looking more at the environment instead of the floor. Getting a Boarderland's vibe.
Hello @Proskoo Accentuate expression on the sculpt, something more angry ya know and the face is too long (vertically) ^^ Keep up the good work mate, cheers !
Look up Anisotropic shaders and use a texture with a lot of stretched vertical noise to get this effect. This will work best if your geometry is tube-like like the picture.
Agreed with the vertical thing. I'd say listen to qub. It definitely is helping me out on my redesign. The lightbox thing or something like it would be great too.
you could use the create tool in polygon mode, if you are set on doing it from 4 edges/8 vertices for whatever reason but efficiency is something else.
bacon, pickle, and mustard sandwiches, on either a bagel or bun. Sandwich bread works too. can slice the pickles yourself, but the dil strips are the best (vertical cuts).
So I tried your suggestions and here is result. Ive ended up using better topology and straightening UV island only on vertical axis. Thank you both very much!
Here's your FBX in Maya, Perhaps you exported this with triangulation on, which solves your problem? Could Quadrangulate from this. Alternatively, selecing rows of vertices and using Connect would also work.
