Hopefully they have something specific and strategic planned. I'm all for Disney starting to cater content to a slightly more grown up audience, but I'm not sure they can do it with the Disney name behind it? Maybe that's what this is all about?
3...2...1... CGTEXTURE check out this comparison the gray one is a flat from cgtexture and the brown one is the in-game screenie NOTE: Not trying to act like whistle blower or hate on bungie just pointing out similarities
go laser dog, go!! i think the final version is very nicely rendered out without crowding the frame with too much detail. the alien beasties' lighting/coloration really draws the eye--good going man.
eek bad news brown, they might have been looking for drugs or something? (not that that is an excuse) ps: I hope the letter was official and signed by someone, if so you shouldn't have any problem getting your money back.
it's just as crazy in the US as it is in Australia... you can't walk into a Ben & Jerry's and buy bacon icecream. But ham is one of those meats that you cook with sweet stuff like brown sugar or honey so maybe it's not so crazy.
Saw this a while ago. I really like what they're doing with crowd mechanics, that should add a good deal of believability to the game. I'm curious as to how they're able to make all the geometry so interactive. Is it procedural?
Yeah I think a lot of artists have seen Ben's textures. It's not bad to use free textures, but it's generally frowned upon for a portfolio piece, where it's generally assumed you did everything in the piece unless credited otherwise.
black is definitely more military than the brown you chose... I think the black makes it look very sleek. My personal taste says the boots soles are still on the tall side, but they are a huge improvement over the previous.
Seconded, indeed popular with the architecture crowd. I'm doing bsc 1 in architecture, though it's mainly the new students that don't know maya or max that use it. I have yet to see a proffessor use it in his works though
