I've also been thinking about between AMD's Threadripper CPUs and Intel's CPUs. But Intel's next 9th generation i9-9900K 8c/16t and AMD's new Threadripper model 2920x is coming soon, so I'd wait for their benchmarks first... if you can be just a tad more flexible with your 400€ budget (I'm just assuming from the price…
Yes! It's possible but oddly not exposed in the maya scripting docs. I stumbled over this until I discovered the "FBXProperties" mel command. (there is no python equivalent that I could find) If you run that command, you'll see a huge printout in the script editor that shows all the FBX settings. It'll include the areas…

There's a considerable delay now before the images are loaded - I don't know if it's intentional, or an effect of the web host & large images. The 'thumbnails' on the main page are much too large. Their purpose is to give the viewer an idea of what you have and entice them to click for more. I'd advise using a standard,…
Your foliage look cool at fist sight , keep up ;) I made some quick measurements from one of your shot into the tower. Considering a desk is at 73-75cm (+ or -),; the shelf on top of the desk is at 250cm..which is too much for 99.9% people ;) Cheers, my 2 cents...
