They ran out of new ideas, now they're stuck remaking old ones. The music industry has been like that for much longer (all those stupid techno covers should just go away!) and the game industry is showing first signs, too. -

I personally prefer color grading on the old one, but the one below has softer shadows - which is better, and all props pop out more - are more visible; not a fan of that color grading though, too sad imo, but depends what you're going for. -

I listen to just about everything but my old standbys are The Strokes, The Black Keys, Junior Kimbrough, Mofro, and Mumford and Sons. Lately though I've been listening to a lot of Radical Face, pretty mellow stuff, not too distracting while I'm working. -

uggh not too keen on the topology brush, similar to the old way of doing it. why can't you just draw strips of polys rather than curves. seems flakey to me Qremesher seems very slow also more investigation required i think -

Hey! I was surprised to see this model of my old concept as I browsed the "what are you working on" thread. Even I'm not too happy whit how the concepts looks today, you still have done a great job of capturing it ^^ Keep it up! -

This seems like one of those threads where the elder elders from the elder times know everything, and us youngsters are not in the know. EDIT: Yep this is a time before even thoughts of my birth were around, I feel old and too young now. -

So I re-inked my character with tweaked tablet settings. Turned out my tablet pen's tip was too soft before, so I couldn't get any line variation. New one is on the left, the old on the right. What a difference! -

Was an 18 year old unemployed bum, playing WAY too much Quakeworld TeamFortress. Wouldn't discover 3d for another year, although I had always been interested in computer art since Deluxe Paint on my Amiga 500 back in the day. -

"You know we're on a sweet contract gig when..." :) Yeah, old titles. Had to wait for the right time...for a long time (devaluation of US dollar helped too). Will get Art of Uncharted 2 next to mark landing the next project, whenever and whatever that is.
