Hey ZacD, It's intended for a first person view. In addition the gun opens up so you can see a lot of faces that would be back faces other wise, so that up'd the count as well. Ciao, GB -

so i left the green lines to separate the sections of the gun and forgot to remove it by accident and was wondering if i should keep it like that to get a retro feel or remove it for its intended visual? HERE IT IS WITHOUT THE LINES FOR REFERENCE: -

I think gamma setttings are even bigger problem. And the vast differences across monitors with regard to color. Not to mention that most people adjust their monitor settings making impossible to ensure your work will look the way it was intended to. -

Yeah, this one sorta snuck up one me. I intend on getting it. I mean, as long as I can get the student discount. Hopefully they deem a student majoring in sculpture worthy of a nice discount, haha. -

You need to use lots more references... There are tons of pictures of this weapons from just about all angles, even the iron sights. I see no excuse to model it wrong unless you intended it to be that way imo. -

Pretty clean modelling. The edges are way too hard if you intend to bake this though. And I think you should try some rounder shapes, those are usually the hardest to model. random example:
