Wow man, great little statue! Oh how I miss those days grinding for rank in Alterac Valley. Speaking of, you could probably give the ground a bit of snow to help make the blood stand out in some places. That, or some strategically placed green grass to help make the red armor pop out. Hell, you could do both! Regardless…
The reason I suggested google was so you'd have many options rather than me posting all the google results here. If you want, I can post them here, but I'm not using 'google them' as a crux. I read your link earlier, and considered editing my post, but I figured you read it yourself and didn't need me quoting it. There are…
We are are small group of game design students in San Francisco seeking a Scripter/Programmer to help us finish a game demo we've been working on. We are treating this demo as a portfolio piece so unfortunately we can not offer any compensation. Here is a link to the demo's site: Welcome to Hell If you are interested in…
Sharing your reel might give us a better idea of how both the content and presentation can be improved. Go pester some modelers for awesome looking static normal mapped characters. They look great, are cheap to render, nobody is going to aniamte them and that shows you can animate within the market's demands. There's…
hello, i get this error when i try to export from mesh maps from substance painter. I retouched AO and Normal and need them out as they retouched but substance wont let me do it probably because they are out of their stack when they usually are when u initially bake them. Is there any method?
Here's my gun model that started the problem - as you can see in substance painter, the normals look perfectly fine... But when in Unity, Maya, or IRAY the normals look totally fucked.. It's subtle but if the surface is really reflective you can easily spot it. I just want to know what the hell is going on here.. Now this…
Alright man, thank you for another helpful response. with your help i pulled this guy off today. Far from impressive, but a hell of a lot better more confident going into it. thank you. (i hid it because i didnt want to distract from your art on your own thread) Im definitely gonna need some brush packages because -damn-…
Hey Ssurfy whats up. I like the concept turnarounds, but one thing i would suggest would be to get yourself some premo photo references. Do you have any anatomy books that you could look at while you are drawing, or hell just draw over. In the world of 3d modelling and concept art you the designer should be taking…
I am liking the interior so far... I'm not sure about the ivy on the brick building. Think about how long the earth has been left unkempt for your environment because it will definitely help your environment in the long run and have everything come together and make sense. If your environment was somewhat recently…
Congrats on landing that work! It took me about 2 years to get my first job, but I had the benefit of having studied in a dedicated 3D Animation course. I'm not sure that I would have stuck with it if I was learning on my own, to be honest. On that note - it can help to do a 3D animation course or something similar…
