Hey all looking for help on getting a new computer .I am wondering what are the better machines to buy to run z brush, 3ds max and photo shop? I want to get a new computer because my old one is "old" and needs a good long dirt nap . please help a brotha out.
You wanna go into mesh>transform and using local translate z value changes. If using an older version I think it was called Transform Components. That should inflate all vertices. You can start there then push and pull problem areas with a soft select to avoid mesh intersecting itself.
Thanks Chami79, We didn't use iClone software. We tried to use it...but as we were little late for competition..we started working with Autodesk Maya So Modeling/Rigging/Animation : Autodesk Maya Texturing/Sculpting : Adobe Photoshop and Z-Brush Editing/Compositing : Nuke and Aftereffects
I would have checked with them whether they wanted you to follow the concept 100% before starting. Having said that though it's looking pretty good and you haven't deviated massively, so would have thought you would be OK. Is this purely a Z Brush sculpt so far?
check this : all i use since it came out(also check the Z-brush tools, awesome stuff!) http://3deobox.com/DeosTool/Maya.html hooks into roadkill(free),i believe it runs on win8,just send him an email if its not, hell probably fix you up a version that will..
Try an Orthographic viewport (Front, User, etc.). If the model is visible then yes it's viewport clipping. For a Perspective view it might help to reset the zoom level (default hotkey Z). Texture format should not affect visibility, unless the TIFF is being used in Opacity. I can't recall if the material matters or not.
Movies...time bandits..PLus all those silly B movies like Troll, Gate, Goolies, Battle beyond the stars, Sword and Sorcery..and bunches more. Cartoons...anyone remember Bionic 6...the Mighty Orbots, Tranzor Z ...I wish I could get that stuff on DVD
" to change this you COULD hold z to zoom around.. i hope that's not what your doing to navige anyway haha." Oops. :P Looks like that's fixed it. Backface culling is off, all is good to go... But man, this 's' thing is gonna take some getting used to! Thanks again.
jimmies, ctrl left click, no? seems pretty handy, only beef is in maya doesnt look like you can undo your uv generation edit: I tell a lie! you can't ctrl z it but just turn the transfer uv input to off and you're good.. yay
Hey, anyone know how they're z-sorting their grass? It's so soft and smooth, can't be alpha-test, gotta be soft alpha on it. But how the heck do they stop the near grass from punching through to the ground? Can't be separate entities for each clump, that would run too slow.
