fade1 already said that, but that only applies to Subscriptors. If you don´t have a subscription(student, don´t need/want it or something) you have to wait for 2013
Everything he said. I go to the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and just had to give a presentation to students looking to enroll. Those were some of my major points.
they have a Certificate and Masters program... the students take the same classes side by side as one unit.. tho the masters obviously have more work to do later in the program...
Consider me chastised. Each student individually however, can legally use the UDK, as long as they don't charge anyone anything for what they make. Just a sneaky suggestion!
Thanks for doing this. I'm sharing it with my student community and bookmarking it for my own personal use after I finish a couple more projects that fit your criteria.
first thing you should do, is call your reseller, thats what you pay him the gazillions of dollars for, and even if it is a students edition, it is their job to give support
Looks good, will pick it up for a console probably... that dialogue animation is still way way overdone though, very distracting... looks like a students short film or something.
Stupid question, I have a student copy of Softimage, Autodesk seems to have removed every option of purchasing the software on their site. Is there anyway to still buy it for professional use?
I don't regret the career, though I do regret the huge amount of student debt I acquired in the process when cheaper alternatives seem plenty these days.
