So would I just import it as a group in fbx rather than merging it all into one mesh to be able to use the individual lightmaps? I have already created them for the individual parts.
Flats shown in the topic are just a merge of all the tiling textures :) It's just a way to know how much texture space has been used and a common way to show your end result.
I would like to see a better subtool grouping system (similar to Photoshop grouping of layers) as opposed to having to merge and split up visible subtools. Would make organisation a lot easier.
Thanks for those replies ! :) Here is the final sculpt. I used dynamesh to merge the flesh with bones and I used claytube and flatten brushes. @ D1ver : No, I just came with my boyfriend :\ and thanks !
@Dado Almeida I merged your post into the main thread, which has been moved to Career & Education. If you can't find it in the future, I suggest a Search (it was on the 2nd page of results).
My guess it was started with some popular game like TF and people just followed suit. Red and Blue are also more contrasty than Blue and Green and will merge into each other easier.
Think of this though: The chinese population is ginormous and the internet-cafe culture is huge, so it's merely by random genetic chance that this kid ended up with this. He's not the only kid having done these marathons by far.
The day gamespy merged with IGN, they took my site, email address, everything down, and that's where the archive was. I believe there's a backup on web archive, but I've never seen it. Maybe Cheapalery knows?
yeah why dont we just start putting hydrochloric acid on our food. Because that actually burns away your flesh instead of merely making your nerves believe it does.
Weop, that turned out nice man... I hope the texture goes well... AND MAKE SURE YOU BACK IT UP!! (I lost mine cause of it... merr). Can't wait to see updates!
