Very last picture of prague, inside the Gothic St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague Castle. The picture is actually 3 individual pictures i stitched together to make this one huge panoramic. Sadly i didnt get a perfect straight on composition but its not to bad of a result.
Hi, The soundFX, spanish voice acting, clunky camera had me in tears. It was like Gothic 3 but worse. Why would you use ancient weapons when you can just use a Modern day rifle.. Changeable breast size... seriously? Thanks for the entertainment.
My newest baby: Deagle - Gargoyle. Whole design is using handpainted normal map to create a dark themed gargoyle sculpture integrated into model geometry. Inspirations come mostly from gothic and victorian architecture. Thanks for checking it out. :) Link to workshop:…
I'm a bit of an architecture nerd so it might just be me being fussy, but if you look at the way the roofs meet the building in the photo, they are tucked in behind the walls. The way you have built it with projecting eaves makes the church look Mediterranean rather than gothic. and sort out the smoothing on the columns!
[ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMIVCgRrm3g[/ame] Morrwind's OST has got to be my favorite, and anything from Jeremy Soule. I also have a lot of nostalgia for the crazy gothic tunes in Kagero: Deception II [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvoAoyN3i8o[/ame]
First time posting, comments welcome. A Gothic style crypt I've been working on in UDK3, in the process of switching over to Unreal 4. done a couple of passes on the style and detail, still tweaking. thoughts and critiques please http://nathanwoodburn.blogspot.com/ Attachment not found. The effort you are putting into this is astonishing! Really love the feel of it so far. How far are you going with the scale of this? Even though the style of your environment does not match Gothic 2's, but some of the angle shots remind me of its' "cosy" environment I loved so much. This is in UE4, right?
10 years ago the ratio of pretty, to content, was around 2:10. now it's 10:2. i realise textures take up memory and all that jazz. but come on... can't i have ONE game that not only looks good, but takes me forever to finish? Gothic 3 did a good job...
So, I'm just starting up a little hp/ sculpt project of a Gothic church entry way. My reference is mostly from Kylemore Abbey. So far I've got the block model roughed in, one tiling texture/ alpha brush sculpt for the stone masonry, and I'm beginning to hp the door tonight.
Wow this comes along nicely! Great job, looking forward to the finished result. "Feuergefährlich" sounds terrible wrong for me as an German, in fact I never encountered this word in my entire life (forty years). "Brandgefahr" would be better, or "leicht entflammbar". Also maybe use some gothic fonts:
