Yep, been following this now and again, mostly on the drive to work. It was odd hearing him on Wednesday morning, then this morning too and thinking 'this guy hasn't been to sleep between these shows'. Really admirable though, and they raised so much! -

That would be fine, and hopefully most helpful! When does it fit you the best? I am personally busy Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday from morning till noon (GMT+1) But other than that I am free. -
E3 Polycount Meetup 2010
Alright - who's going to be there? I figure if we have enough maybe we can forge some meetup during lunchtime on one of the days, maybe at a food place near the convention center.. I'll be in CA Saturday till Wednesday night. -

Back with a little update on my most recent mini-environment project for the weekly challenge. The due date for a finished in game model is next Wednesday so its still super WIP but it's coming along nicely. -

double post....sorry. HP sculpt is pretty much wrapped up then, back to the diffuse tomorrow. Hoping to have him ready for LP and bake by Wednesday, but that will depend on how long it takes me to in polypaint. anyway...onwards! -

That's pretty much exactly how it's done. The fur is shader-driven and includes a bunch of parameters for spacing shells, painting fur direction, and adjusting opacity/density. I was actually looking at the shader with one of my coworkers on Wednesday. -
