Duncan- awesome, her face looks like Scarlett Johansson kinda, in a good way of course ;) HntrLuc- Badass man!! Bake looks great. Only comment I have is that the dark line on e inside of the goggles really make it feel low poly, while nothing else gives that impression. If it's for style that's coolio, but right now it…
hey man, just curious but what are these patches supposed to be made of? In the context of the head I feel like they should be skin, bits of somebody else's face, but the way you've done the stretching and colour they just look like leather patches. If they're leather its fine (could use a higher spec level though) but if…
Hell this thread is the best inspiration place i could find everyday ! @fingus : love your render and your texture process @hazardous : the prettiest face i've seen in this thread, i fell in love with your pepper ! @faf :magnificent textures, i must say Updating my champion for the Showdown Contest, Isaac Newton. Working…
Your pixel density is all over the place. Shoulder pads are blurrier than the face, and the thingy on his chest is very pixelated. Hopefully it wouldn't be too much effort to fix, but I think it might be if you have to re-UV to make everything the same size ratio! You would have to chop up your original texture in this…
@ Saman Thanks dude I will add some more color. Actually I had an idea how to make the bust a bit more interesting to. I was thinking about adding an swamp scene for him with some bugs flying around his face or something :) @ SleepingGiant Thank you! @ Ravenslayer Thank you so much man. I love the Disney Doodles you are…
Scoob- The paints on that face are looking pretty nice man! the nose is waaaaay better the cheeks could use a little more depth otherwise:thumbup: More on the GW2 art test. hp done. the tubes at the legs are just placeholder for a single tube sculpted at the origin...caus there is no reason for them to not be mirrored and…
Man, eyes are too far apart. I've seen a lot of great stylized stuff from you on this thread, but last ones, where you are trying to do an stylized female face over a realistic body are not working well. I think you should go 100% stylized or 100% real. A cartoonish head over a regular body looks something fake to me.
Some really awesome work guys/gals. Its been a while since i last posted anything so here is a concept i am working on right now. he is a sci-fi yakuza dude. Just cleaning up the linework atm, going to go back and redo the face later on. If he turns out well i might make him in 3d.
Just about happy with the texture (still missing driver name, rim/brake detail and some carbonfiber bits). Poly count is somewhat reasonable. Now, out of Maya's viewport 2.0 and into the Cryengine! Also, wtf, where can I get access to texture filtering in Maya? As soon as a surface faces more than 45 degrees away from the…
@ crazyfool Very nice work. He looks very familiar, were you going for a likeness? :) @r0xmys0x Very cool style on those sculpts. Like the old man a lot! @Swizzle Cool proportions and face looks great too! @FAT_CAP If that's just the block-out I can't wait to see the finished piece. :D @Dado Very fun character! :D Been…
