I will be there. Even though we are slammed at work we are given 1 day off for E3. Not sure which day it is, I'm guessing it will be the Sony press conference day where will be showing off Uncharted 3 :) My first E3, very excited! -

Even though this is technically a mod it might as well be called an indy game... i mean hell it isnt even based off a single game, its based off an engine. I think it just cheapens total conversions like this by calling it a mod. -

Re: Foliage in AAA games, sculpting of leaf VS having photo of it.
It's good to understand the workflow, but yeah, at a studio, chances are you'll be using a leaf scan, or working off of something to start off with, instead of making it completely from scratch. I can only imagine if it's stylized foliage, where you would maybe sculpt it and paint it. -
