Your scene is very blue, the concept has a lot warmer tone into it. Actually, only the holosign has that kinda blue in it, otherwise it's very green and brown :) Maybe work on your colors to get the feel right first?
It's frowned upon to use a straight photograph, so depending on a studio's workflow you'll edit photos or model textures in programs like ZBRush with/without photo overlays. There are lots of texture sites, just have to find them.

Did anyone catch John Simpson (BBC) reporting from it? He was in the middle of some of the rioters with a film crew and the Iranian undercover police turned to make them stop - the crowd turned on the cops and chased them away.
man, this thing keeps getting better and better. Good job mate. The front part of the hair doo seems to get lost in the brown a bit though, I'd say bring that out a bit more. Goatee ftw!
