If you are using windows 7, Win+Shift+Left (or right) also moves windows to the other monitor (hit the uvw/layers hotkeys/buttons to open those 2 windows first of course) -

Oghh damn it :) I switched to win 7 and I did not have it before so I was thinking It could be disabled :) my bad. I guess I will have to live with it :) Thanks Marine. -

Out of the studios I've worked for, 7 used Maya, and 4 used Max, 2 of them used something else. If I get to choose, I always choose Maya for rigging/animating -

Actually, I think you can do a simple FPS, I'm on a team that's doing a VR game. Granted, it's 7 people who all have 5-15 years of professional experience. -

didnt read this whole thread, but, 3dcoat student version has 7 layers limitation and 2048px maps, but its good enough to learn it. It's about $99 only if you finish your trial. -

doesn't look like a bug, looks like a space betwee the 0 and 7 ;) . would be nice to have some more standard shortcuts though, having to remember that poly 120 = :poly120: sucks ;) . -

when Im actually in a working groove, I really dont notice any music playing at all. I'll go through 7 or 8 tracks without noticing that the song ever changed. -

You didn't try BFF? Worked a treat when I had to go from 7 to 5 a couple years ago. Kept all my lights, cameras, editable poly, etc. -

i would go for 60 or 80 as well. i just got an 80 and only installed windows 7, drivers, browsers, but no other heavy programs and its like 1/3 full.
