In max is there a script/way to add a handle at 45 degrees to the move select tool? In 2d orthographic view this would mean a 45 degree angle pointer arrow in addition to the normal x/y/z handles and maybe in the 3d view an angle pointer in all the 45 degree planes. Is this possible in max?
Could be one of two things: Maya is changing the color space of the normal map texture when applying. (Change color setting on the file node to Raw to fix) The program you are viewing your model in has a different Y direction than the baker. (Usually fixed by inverting green channel in texture)
Hello! Is there any workaround if I want to only make a turntable of my geometry model ONLY? I want my camera, lights and sky to remain static while the object rotates on the Y axis. I know if mtb2 you have scene turntable, but that also rotates the lights... Thank you!
this is my submission for my hand in , still got alot of things to work on, i want to make it a full body character but i think ill be going back to concept in my spare time with the limitations of uni , thanks everyone for your help with this project its been greatly appreciated :D (Y)
Totally true. And if someone that contracted you simply says that you should use "x or y" program instead of your, then just go ahead and learn it. If you're an experienced 3d modeller, you will probably be able to adapt pretty fast to another 3d app since everything is pretty much the same.
Looked like fun! ...Then I discovered the surprising inability of a group of digital artists to line up a bunch of even squares. wtf Polycount!? Y U NO ZOOM? urgh. I cleaned up the middle area, I'm not touching the overlapping mess around the bottom, it looks fine from afar. :P
u can align them on either of 3 axis (x,y or z - u do it in Edit Poly tools of your object) and then snap them to the one u want. U could of course snap them 1 by 1 and it wont be that bad seen that u dont have many of them.
Don't think so. Though pressing Y is faster than heading all the way over to Enter. Oh, Scott Ruggels used to have a tut on the old polycount for spline/patch low-poly modeling. I have it saved offline somewhere, could probably dig it out if you want.
Yea, that is what I want to do. But how would I normalise the coordinates within kismet? Might there be a way to fix the ball on its position, and only track the player along x/y? Considering that the matinee actually shows me that I just need the ball to rotate along with the players position?
More Wip! i've been working on the story and the compo, so here is, i think it's the final sketch for this ^^ i think i gonna call this, "Vengeful Diana" @Piasek89 Thanks! @Duranial, arriba edite el post y puse el link a los brush sets que uso, Saludos
