This is turning out really really well! I think it would be cool in the texturing if you add some color variations to your leaves, make some of them be a bit damaged and dryer, so yellow and brown tones.
Photo Reference Pack: BUNKER volume 2 Download on Artstation These bunkers are known as blockhaus from the Second World War. Most of them slowly drown in the sand with the tides. The rest looks like vaults and are isolated in the dunes.
Yeah, one of them's been a Wachowski sister for quite a while now. This one looks like it might be a bit more of a crowd pleaser than Cloud Atlas. Could go either way quality wise though.
Any condenser microphone should do the job, preferable one with a cardioid polar pattern, its all in the mic placement and pop filter. If you speak with enough confidence and clarity, background noise will drown out and not be noticeable.
I think I would try to source a different wood texture, the waviness is too much I think and the color should be more on the brown side than green. Models themselves are looking pretty good overall.
Pav3d: That's one of a sexy bake you got yourself right there... Daym! TheWildHunt : Nice blockings. Looking good but maybe the gloves should he higher and the short sleeves(the dark brown ones on the concept)could be larger.
I'd like it if the castle seemed more precarious to traverse - the writing descriptors lend themselves to something older and abandoned, with everything being over grown and fallen into disuse. needs some birds for more scale elements :D
There is a paint-tiling feature in the 3D system. Not perfect, but definitely getting closer... http://forums.adobe.com/message/1645842#1645842 Edit... related video here. http://tv.adobe.com/watch/the-russell-brown-show/painting-3d-patterns/
To be honest, most character artists in the industry will frown upon the use of programs like Daz. If you want to be a professional character artist, make everything from scratch, learn proportion and anatomy rock solid on your own.
thanks everyone! Wrappin up the old blue punk clown... thing. I don't know. Probably do one more pass before I call it done, open to feedback. Not sure about the hair or shoulders...
