Thanks Brian. Yeah that would look good, but I wanted it to look clean, like a sword for display on a museum or something like that. Maybe I'll make an alternative texture.
A Sea of Thieves skeleton sculpt made in Zbrush. I saved a clean version of the sculpt so that you guys can make you're own version if you want. I made a cracked skull pierced by a sword as an example :) https://hungryluma.gumroad.com/l/SOTSkull
Not a char artist, But the character seems to be mirrored. Meaning it would benefit your texture space only to work with the half of all of the elements (and the sword being 1/4). Ignore that the weapons and cloth (alphas) are on seperate texture.
This is a sword i made for a skyrim mod. it's based on morrowind's design wich was this: Model, both lowpoly and highpoly done in 3ds max, texture in photoshop with DDO the mod itself can be found here: link Thanks in advance for feedback
Hello, I had the idea of a religious sword, used by Inquisitors No helmet for me, I don't think I will have time and motivation for it :( (or maybe if I team up with someone) Moodboard/References (Click to enlarge) :
okay god damn it you assholes made me do it.. its stider.. map stil a wip.. its 350 exactly with sword!!! eat that assholes! the map on the pic is the actual size of the texture 128.
Not much more I can add, except if you'd bumped into this article authored by Evan Herbert?! at some point previously then I'll suggest re-reading it's contents, when as Benjammin mentioned revising your metal texturing approach. So perhaps instead of culling that T-72, maybe a chance exists too resurrect it completely....…
Perhaps placing something on top of their blankets would help signify death and mourning. A flower, a make-shift cross, a helmet or sword. It might be a little 'on the nose' though. Your call.
