When your job consists of 50% output, you tend to LOVE pdf files. They're a what-you-see-is-what-get program. The only thing they can throw off from the original file is the colour once its printed, but that's easily fixed. PDF's are great.
Really like that mood piece, but I'm a bit confused as to what "time" period this takes place in. The boy and his clothing make me think 1920s, but the metro and such look more 40s-50s. Love the way you do your concepts though, seems very efficient :) !
Figure about 50-100k USD before you even get started. Then add however many months of running costs, salaries, sent, Coke & Redbull you'd need until you think you're going to get signed, then double it twice and you'll get close.

That is not currently possible but it something we will likely add in the future. If you have a good enough GPU you may be able to simply load your highpoly into Toolbag though - on my GXT 980 I've tested scenes with up to 50 million triangles.
