without any more information, heres an easy way to get the coordinates back, create a locator or group and snap it to the foot controller pivot, parent the foot controller to the locator/group and freeze the transforms on the foot controller, then unparent it and it should now have the world coordinates. but what antweiler… -

Actually you're already using the best UVing tool :) You don't need to worry - there's still no better tools to do this job. I wouldn't put them all into one big OBJ file, because then it's more effort to break off the one you want, orient it's origin in order to clone it around etc etc. Makes more sense to have each one as it's own OBJ file with their pivot at 0,0,0, with a screenshot like JKMakowka said. -

The turntable object doesn't provide this level of control. What you can do is instead is create a group object, place it where you with the pivot point to be, and then place your camera in that group instead of a turntable. Check the scales in the original 3D application. Personally I use blender, and it has two size references, the dimensions and the scale. If I want the scale values to reset to 1,1,1 I have to apply size. I'm not sure how this works with other applications, however zbrush does seem sensitive to this and the pivot point. -

Dammn dude, looking tastey :D Are you getting some vertex painting into those road/path slabs to break them up, they look really repetative at the moment. The window shutters are <3 How much you got left to do? Paintover should help with some scene noise, especially the pilons. -

they have added cut tool / slice bevel connect bridge dissolve edge collapse. along with edge loop / ring etc, that all work with n-gons. feels quite nice actually. i even figured out how to get rid of that god damn pivot... i hate that damn thing... -

Edit: can you see the orange mirror plane helper? Reset xform (as Ruz says) *AND* re-centre the pivot. You can do this after skinning, just pop the reset xform under the skin modifier and Collapse To. You may need to toggle Always Deform on the skin modifier after doing this. -

Parent the 'slave' object to a dummy after setting the dummys pivot to the basic axis you need - then use the wire parameters to link the rotation of the master object to the dummy, then link the slave object to the dummy. Tough to explain, but it should work - Ive used this basic technique to do something very similar…
