I've never shopped with ASDA as there never seems to be one nearby. Tesco and Sainsburys do free delivery on orders over £40, and delivery is about £6. The other trouble is that you have to be in to recieve it, and the slots are often limited. When I was at uni, I'd be in from 9-6 every day and couldn't use it anyway.
iWerez - Yeah those dextures are way dull. What are your texture and lighting settings? To get the best out of your textures in Unity: - Set your texture filter to Trilinear - Aniso level to 9 Set rendering path to Deferred Lighting Color space to Linear That should be a base to get those textures popping.
try picking up several shocks before using them... its much harder to evade 9 shock domes rather than 3... and dont use them when you know the 1st is right before a split route or a bridge/tunnel... but sure, if the player in 1st is skilled enough it can get hard :)
Aw, you guys don't like the Osprey 9? :( I picked it because of how unique it looks, and from the research I've done, it's a really good product too. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pcFOrFy1_VQ[/ame] @mr_ace - Thanks, I'll fix that up. @Raider - Good point :) Thanks for pointing that out
Hrm.... INTERESTING. I can test this very easily myself, but I'm wondering: Is it SPECIFICALLY limited to the number of unique texture samplers? I'm guessing if it is, we still might be able to use some normal map blending trickery to create some extra variation if we go above 9 unique texture samples?
CTRL+N with the cursor in a text field. much like the old "max doesn't have a repeat last command" thing - it does, they just don't shout about it and stability wise - on decent hardware (ie intel + nvidia) 2012 is pretty good, it's no max 9 I'll grant but it's a step up from the last couple
I totally agree the The 12 principles of animation are very important. But they are a little dated. They where not handed down on stone tablets. They came from 9 old Disney animators that came up with the concepts and names more or less out of necessity. For 3D 8, 10, 11, 12, are often out of the control of the animator or…
propably with proxies and or Reference objects - depending on what you use. Maya and max have something like that,- though I believe updates need to be done manually or only occour when you save. The max reference system however is a horrible mess,- at least in version 9 - not sure if they every fixed that big mess.
muppo how do you know the ssao does not work in dx 11? I've searched a bit for a benchmark program and not really come up with much all the drivers are already up to date. From what I've read so far windows 7 doesn't let you install direct x 9.
Heh, Keyser you managed to lay out the argument for this movement better than one of the main founders of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2eQTh5ITYGg&mode=related&search= "I believe consumption is at the root of terrorism!" ...because me going out and buying relatives chinsey little presents helped the hijackers of 9/11!
