@sunray your workflow sounds good. To avoid all the scaling issues I highly recommend Styx. I have been using it now for a few months and I can't imagine life without it. It completely eliminates the scale issues in ZB, ensures a seamless bridge between ZB/Max/Maya, and is only 5 quid. Here's a recent vid from my YT…
I'm pretty sure that isn't what rule of thirds means. Rule of thirds deals with composition. Dark_JediBains: Looks like you got a start there, but be very mindful of your scale. I'm not sure what the structure above the players perspective is supposed to be...looks like a highway bridge maybe?? Either way...its really high…
so was the contest closed early... well anyways, heres my submission. The Paragorn IV mining station on the moon of Augustus has been nonoperational for a few years now. The Liandri location scout in the sector took full advantage and purchased the location knowing that it would be a great addition for the tournament. My…
You just need to be aware Modo will happily let you create non-manifold geometry (unlike 3DSMax which you've been used to). Edges can belong to more than two polygons, vertices can belong to two "surfaces", vertices can belong to the same polygon more than once (although this last one is pretty hard to achieve). Mesh…
I saw that Blender can do this step too. I have found this maxscript and it seems the C++ source code is available. So if anyone can make a modifier out of it, and then combine it with Turbosmooth and pro-optimizer modifier after that you would not need to export to zbrush. I understand that the Polyherz quad chamfer…
SO the "solution" i found was to -make a whole new uv map. -Put all the uvs on to that one map -export the fbx as unreal static (2018) instead of using the modo bridge. -Works like a charm. I dont know if thats the most accurate way of accomplishing this, becausei bet unreal has a way to use multiple uvs haha. I think this…
I'm not religious, I don't beleive in the worth of religous faith, but I'm a father and I beleive in thinking positively and crossing bridges when we come to them. She'll be in my thoughts, she's clearly a wee sweetheart and I understand what its like when they develop 'serious' problems. I'll wish her all the best each…
Photo Reference Pack: Singapore Download on Artstation Here you will be able to see the best things I saw in Singapore from dawn to sunset. I took photos of the gigantic skyscrapers, the peaceful Botanic Garden, the amazing structures of the Garden By the Bay, the interior designs of the mall and the subway, the…
You know what I love about the UK, it seems like they really support these game grads, I've heard about a couple of these events, and it makes bridging that gap that much easier. As for Canada, well... Ontario (seems like Vancouver does a pretty good job at it) there doesn't seem to be a lot of these awesome conventions. I…
well i used the same piece of wood to make the bridge, as i did the well, and used the same piece to make the walk way, isn't that modular? hmm and didnt use google I bing baby ;) but ill keep the noise level in mind next time. lol in due time I will be great, give me some time!! Thanks for your crits!! will keep it in…
