Yeah, animation is the only key here. I will add run acceleration into the next one! Not sure as for segments - I planned it to look like a game transforming into the cinematic. Need to think on it too. Thank you for advice
HI, i'm sorry if this has already been answered but are there certain transforms that we need for our camera? This is found on the main contest page FAQ. The angle to use is around 55 degrees with the FOV being 40.
parenting something to a deforming geometry will not move the object, since its the shape thats deforming. To have deforming geometry (skin, blendshape, warpdeformer) transform an object, use a hairsystem follicle or search for a script called djRivet.mel
If you want the box to stay there, turn on transparency and ghost in the transform pallet. Otherwise I'd say just press the eye next to the box to turn it off, sculpt how you want, turn the box back on.
Looks fantastic! And please tell me you're gonna rig it and then show off the transformation...I can imagine it perfectly in my head, that front heavy chunk falling down and opening up...very cool!
It was transformation Thursday. Increased the resolution and started the tweaking. I wish I had less drama to utilize time for art including my 3D models, but at least I got something out of my system.
It's pretty straightforward if all you want is the transform. There's an example of an ascii format (.ASE) exporter in the maxscript docs iirc so I'd say just have a go at it and post back here if you get stuck.
Did my tablet PC just magically transform into a Cintiq?... hmm... maybe if I could clone the output screen info from my PC to my tablet then use this to send input to my PC...
Thank you for your answer @throttlekitty but this green shape is 2D flat unfortunately and I don't know how to transform it in 3D. :( If I can convert it in 3D I would be able to extrude it the good way.
Another floyd fan here, pretty much everything on the wall, and wish you were here, also listen to alot of killers and daft punk recently, no real anthems..., well, maybe dare from transformers.
