Update: I gave the model new arms and shoulders, an additional knee joint in each leg and gave it a new gun and shield. I also gave up on getting the arms to function the way I initially wanted and just designed the new arms around a traditional ball and socket joint for the shoulder. Something about the front view looks…
You are looking for initialize function. Here is something that might help you indepth: [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9S41-JMBqE&feature=related[/ame] Good luck. EDIT: Since you already tried using Deformation. While on Side view, Recreate the scale widget ( make sure you have the symmetry off) and while in the…
I agree with basically everything here. but remeber that a concept dosnt have to be a perfect 3/4 view with a front and side view. or a super awesome rendered painting. I do most of my concept art on post-its. that and some google refs can definitly be enough. but the main thing is to do your research. "winging it" isnt…
well my main problem is that i have to download something to view your portfolio....especially a zip file. People are lazy. More people will more likely look at your stuff if you have it viewable in their browser on a page. because as of now, i would have to download your zip, and click on each file to view in my jpeg…
That blend mode flyout is only to set the default curve type of new keys, it doesn't change existing keys. In the track view, select all the keys and change them to the smart curve type, or whatever its called. The bezier handles should flatten out at the top and bottom most keys and not let the curves shoot past them.…

More information in…
Di$array thanks for your comments. I am chiming in to say that I agree with MrHobo. I would also add that if you check the top of your helmet in side view and compare it to your reference you will find that yours is a bit taller. The shape in the reference seems to follow the shape of the cranium. I think if you made the…

Worked on kinks and critique advice all day. Here's a before and after. Changed his arms a bit too- the elbows were broken. I'll put up new orthographic views when I'm rested up again. Time for bed! Learning a lot from this sculpt. Having a lot of fun! Orthographic views. Fixed up some problems and changed the silhouette…
That design is amazing! The hair and spikes would read really well in the portrait view, and I think the skirt would read well from the in-game view. My one suggestion though, would be to make the ghosts a bit more green. They're really really small in game, and the skirt might make it not instantly recognizable, since…
