I actually have an idea now, some how make a whole bunch of boss fights, I don't know if it will be you have a limited amount of resources and this this much time to beat this monster, or if it will be hero based, or something different. But I kinda want it old school top down game bosses (think 2D zelda)
[ QUOTE ] I believe Gears of War characters are 9000 polygons, give or take, with high res for normals/parallax maps in the 2 million range. [/ QUOTE ] I think that's only for the biggest monsters, if anything. They don't say, but judging by the wireframes in the art book I wouldn't figure Marcus or the other Cog soldiers…
I totally agree, its why in my monster post I put "Fix this crap, don't break anything else in the process and get crackin" heh. So sick of that. Most of the stuff I listed are new bugs they introduced in 2010. I've also submitted this stuff whenever it gives me the chance, with some of these its not at all.
Polyboost has a function where you can select a face (make yourself a floating tri) and then tell it to give you all the faces with the same amount of edges (3). That's what I do. Or you could use Monster's "Who's my quad" script, then just invert to find all your non quads. www.juantwo.com
TGZ: Um, because he's a werewolf and he can be whatever the hell he wants? You realize asking why a giant half human half wolf monster has 4 fingers is kind of silly? I know what you mean, just poking at you. Environment looks pretty great! And the mutt too!

Couldn't resist, as its probably one of the best pieces of its kind in the last 10 years. Theres some brilliant quotes in this series, including possibly one of the most disturbing monolouges i've heard for a while. Anyway... lets see what you can do with this one. Currently there is no voice over but I have a question sheet available via Google Docs. Let me know if you find this helpful. Cheers! I the original 3/4 view, the top of the hips are quite wide, flaring out in an almost straight line from the spine. An ostrich is probably the closest living creature to the look you want (a cassowary is probably closer to a real velociraptor, but nobody seems to like chicken-sized monsters...). Try to look at some…
First and third clip especially made me absolutely envious and inspired at the same time. First clip the monster reminded me of the one that stalks you in another world (first thing that came to mind) and dat tiger animation. Great job. The rest was great work too but the two hand-animated pieces really tickled my fancy.
