Delete history, Freeze Transformations, and Polygons->Cleanup (check the help file for tool description). Also, Normals->Set to Face. And go to yoru attribute editor for the object, Render Settings, and uncheck "Double Sided."
amazing renders, it really makes the eye wanna look everywhere. my only crit is that it doesnt look like it could transform in a 18 wheeler... :( just kidding, this thing kicks ass! great job.
Ha, yeah I just noticed the average normal tool, I'm a handy tard thanks SHEPEIRO. You just need to freeze the transform of the models then select the offending overlapping verts and average normals.
The 2D view is of the blend node and the graphic was moved up high, hidden underneath the Transformation 2D label. Ignore the model, I was working on another project when I came to respond to your reply.
if you export as vertex animation a XForm Modifier works defenitly- not sure how it behaves with bones though , like MoP said better have a master controler that allows you to transform the whole rig
Hi Polycount, My inspiration come from Brothers Grimm's fairy tale "The frog prince". The legend said that a Prince was cursed by evil witch, he was transform into a frog until a girl kiss him and that girl will be wed to him and become the next queen.
Now crap is coming in flipped normals. If i mirror the object its ok .... Anyone know a way to clear out every transform mirror or any coordinate info. Rest xform does not work
Ah... "Shift+S" then select "Snap to Grid" (or menu "Mesh > Snap > [selection]"). You can also manually align something using "Transform" Properties ("N" - the very top set of XYZ coordinates)
I tried to reset transformations in maya, (setting the maya world grid to 0,0,0) but still no change, nope, the model still requires some skilled hands to move it around, just like the first image.
Just getting the basics out of the way: Freeze transform, delete history, center pivot, check the outliner and make sure it's not grouped then set it to object symmetry. If it still doesn't work I have no clue.
