your right my bad there :D It was just a quick test as I had very little free time today. never intended to keep it for the final shot :) thanks again!
Army of Darkness wasn't that bad...it was an action moive instead of an *intended* horror. Though I am also one of those people who see Bruce Campbell as a tiny god...
Here's a sketch I always intended to model, but I would want to change it too much now....so it just sits there and haunts me - one of my abandoned offspring....
had a great lunchtime bash.. love seeing people jump at the same time as you and they just sail slowly away from the intended landing point and off into the grass.. mwahaha
Decided to give this one a shot.(lol. no pun intended) It's a Victorian style pistol. Starting off with reference... ...here is some progress on the hiPoly. One for the wires... ...and one without wires.
Are they intended to be injected straight into game, or they need retopology? Yes, they are already optimized, some of them optimized very well. I just still new about 3D so I'm not sure about having models in games with bevels, chamfers and any relief on their geometry
So I'm getting close to the stage where the modeling is compete and before I go head first into uvmapping and creating texture maps I would greatly appreciate the input of the many creative talents on this website. Its a portfolio piece and I intend to showcase it using UDK.
Is there an issue with ShaderFX? I fiddled with it on a friends copy, and it seems like it's not working as intended, while the one in Maya LT does. He has ATi and I have Nvidia, so GPU is out of the window.
Update #20 I intend to do a cloth sim in Unreal Engine 4 so not much going on :D Probably going for the leather "smoke bombs" (well at least that's what i think it is) next!
I love it. Though I was hoping that the nice oroange keycolor would be more prominent. The strong blue lighting takes away much saturation from the orange. But I guess this was intended. Awesome work!
