Thanks. I probably have too much going on with the lighting. Area lights and point lights along with the emmisive are drowning out the details. Got to revamp the lighting before final version.
Really love ZBrush. I know a lot of people hate the UI of it and the looks, but I've grown to really like it and find it to be really intuitive and easy to use after understanding certain aspects of it.
ooh. very nice. lighting looks great BUT maybe change your environment color to not be so blue. as the shadowed area of the outside of the house should be more greenish brown than anything.
Stop Thinking Of No Mans Sky As A Multiplayer Game As far as big space games we've got Elite: Dangerous and Star Citizen, not as crowded as FPS or 3rd person action games.
well, sketchup is nurbs modeling, this seems to be poly based, so it wouldnt be a direct rival. i'm not sure of its use yet, seems to be some kindergarden app, not for grown up artists?
well i'm sat directly opposite a grown adult who can't even pronounce "book" properly (he says boo-k, the morpeth spanner). These conversations could go on for ever.
If you don't mind me asking. What was the course you took at humber college? Also what did you think of the George Brown College Game Art program? Cheers.
Hellllllllll yea, its why i got in this business. nothing like swerving madly through crowds of pedestrians high outta your mind on the way to the local whore house at lunchtime.
The griffin or simargl or whatever it turns out to be looks like it might be a baby - it's a bit awkward and ungainly like a puppy and its feathers and horns don't look like they've fully grown in.
Really nice job! The textures are great. Perhaps I think that you could work a little bit more on the lighting of the scene. Also, what is the weird brown wave reflection in the mirror?
